Weight Loss Treatments

Better Health through Better Living

At Naos Wellness Group, we offer a range of highly effective, personalized weight loss treatments designed to meet your unique needs and goals. One of the most sought-after options is GLP-1 agonists, which have been shown to help patients lose an average of 15-20% of their overall body weight. These medications work in several powerful ways: they suppress hunger and reduce cravings, help you feel fuller for longer, and enhance your body’s natural ability to lower inflammatory insulin resistance. This combination not only supports weight loss but also promotes a healthier metabolic state.

When combined with a tailored diet and exercise plan, GLP-1 agonists can lead to transformational results. Patients also benefit from a reduced risk of serious health conditions such as cancer, diabetes, and heart disease, particularly for those struggling with obesity or being overweight.

Our Doctor will design your treatment depending on your specific goals and needs.

  • Semaglutide
  • Tirzepatide
  • Tesofensine

  • Cagrilintide
  • Weight Loss Complementary Peptides
  • Other Medications out of this list can be recommended only by Doctors Order

Semaglutide

Semaglutide injection is in a class of medications called incretin mimetics. It works by helping the pancreas to release the right amount of insulin when blood sugar levels are high. Insulin helps move sugar from the blood into other body tissues where it is used for energy. Semaglutide injection also works by slowing the movement of food through the stomach and may decrease appetite and cause weight loss.

Semaglutide is used to reduce the risk of a stroke, heart attack, or death in adults who are overweight or obese along with heart and blood vessel disease. Semaglutide is used along with an individualized low-Sugar, low-fat diet and exercise program to help with weight loss in obese or overweight adults who may also have high blood pressure, diabetes, or high cholesterol.

Tirzepatide

Tirzepatide works by mimicking the GLP-1 and GIP hormones that are naturally secreted by the intestine after a meal, which prompts insulin secretion. It also reduces appetite by slowing down the time it takes the stomach to empty and interacting with areas in the brain harboring GLP-1 receptors to signal satiety.

Tirzepatide is FDA-approved for weight loss in adults with obesity or who are overweight and have weight-related medical problems. Tirzepatide helps you to lose weight and maintain weight loss and should be combined with diet and exercise.

Tesofensine

Tesofensine is a drug that was initially investigated as a treatment for Alzheimer’s disease due to its ability to enhance brain function.
However, during clinical trials, researchers observed a significant side effect: weight loss. This unexpected discovery prompted further investigation into tesofensine’s potential as a weight loss aid

How tesofensine works

Tesofensine primarily works as an appetite suppressant and a fat burner, making it a promising candidate for weight loss. Here’s how it achieves these effects:

Appetite suppression

Tesofensine affects certain neurotransmitters in the brain, such as serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine. By modulating these neurotransmitters, it helps control appetite and reduce food cravings, making it easier to consume fewer calories and avoid overeating.

Increased energy expenditure

Tesofensine also increases the body’s energy expenditure or metabolism to help the body burn more calories, even when at rest. This effect contributes to weight loss by creating a calorie deficit and allowing the body to burn more calories than it consumes.

The clinical evidence

Several clinical trials have been conducted to assess the effectiveness and safety of tesofensine in promoting weight loss. These studies have shown the following promising results:

Weight loss
In clinical trials, individuals taking tesofensine experienced significant weight loss compared to those on a placebo. Some studies reported weight loss of up to 10% of initial body weight over a relatively short period.

Improved metabolic markers

Tesofensine not only aids in weight loss but also improves metabolic markers, such as insulin sensitivity and blood lipid levels. These improvements are essential for overall health and reduce the risk of obesity-related diseases like type 2 diabetes and heart disease.

Tolerable side effects

While tesofensine can have side effects like increased heart rate and blood pressure, they’re generally manageable and reversible when discontinuing the treatment. In most studies, the benefits of weight loss outweighed the potential risks.

The potential impact on obesity

Obesity is a complex health issue that requires a comprehensive approach to treatment. While tesofensine isn’t a miracle solution, it may offer a new tool in this battle, particularly if you’ve struggled to lose weight through diet and exercise alone without success.

Tesofensine shows promise in encouraging weight loss by suppressing appetite and increasing metabolism. Our team offers tesofensine with an approach that involves close monitoring and guidance as we stay up to date on research of its long-term effects and safety.

Retartutide

Retatrutide activates the GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon receptors that are involved with controlling hunger and satiety, allowing people to feel fuller after eating for longer. This helps to regulate blood sugar levels, leading to weight loss.
This new drug called Retatrutide may be even more powerful than Semaglutide and Tirzepatide. The experimental drug is currently in clinical trials,, but has lead to an average weight loss as high as 24% after 48 weeks on the highest dosage (12 mg weekly) in people with overweight or obesity.

Cagrilintide

Cagrilintide is an amylin-analog, now being developed in combination with the GLP-1 agonist semaglutide to achieve sustained weight loss in persons with overweight and obesity. Amylin, released with insulin from beta cells in the pancreas, induces its satiating effect via both the homoeostatic and hedonic regions of the brain.
Despite the worldwide epidemic of obesity, there remain few approved pharmacological treatment options to bridge the gap between lifestyle therapy and bariatric surgery.

Cagrilintide needs to be used either with Semaglutide or Tirzepatide and this combination helps people reduce total body weight through hormones by influencing food intake and weight loss mechanisms within the body.
